About the show
Warning! The play contains obscene language.
A new play based on the text by Maxim Kurochkin – is an attempt at an honest conversation about what seems undeniable today. The play explores the problematic of heroism and excessive pathos.
At the center – the tension between reality and myth. The absence of a cultural code that could analyze the experience of the simultaneity and coexistence of a real close war, peaceful life, and the myth-laden popular idea of heroes as characters from the epic about the ancient Greeks and Cossacks of the Zaporizhian Sich era.
*Veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war participate in the performance.
